Aquafest Lake StevensIf Aquafest in Lake Stevens isn’t on your list of summer events in Snohomish county yet, maybe you should check it out. Especially this year, when Aquafest celebrates it’s 50th birthday!

Aquafest festival is up in Lake Stevens, WA every year at the end of July and it’s a lot of fun. In 2010 it’ll be July 23-25th. There are no entrance fees. Parking in in Lake Stevens downtown can be a problem during Aquafest. You can park at the high school, though, and enjoy free shuttle and free horse drawn wagon rides and all events such as the fireworks show Saturday night.  All for you to enjoy the festival!

From what I see, this years 50th anniversary of Aquafest is going to be a lot of fun!
